[RPG Tutorial The Basics]

Great tut

Im making an RPG game and it helped with the heath potions and stuff. And to the person below me, try:

if (_root.hp<=0) {_root.hp = 0;_root.gotoAndStop(DEATH FRAME);}

It works in my RPG

problems

well, I think we all know how to tween, but I looked at it anyway and on the shape one it says select MOTION tween! I suppose its alright for noobs though

good idea, but

it would be good if it was an actual game, eg you have to fight stuff or make certain objects do certain things with spells, raather than just testing spells on a dummy or a box

great tutorial!

I've finnally found a good platform tutorial. When is part 2 and 3 coming out then? Its good that it works with CS3 and flash 8 (I still have flash 8) I was trying to follow a very complicatted tutorial that didn't make sense. THis is probably the most well explaned platform tutorial. Great graphics aswell. 10/10 and 5/5

but i cant get past level 8. CURSE YOU RED DOTS!!!! You should have a level code system aswell, cuz now ill have 2 restart :C

but i cant get past the level with the temple thingy with the guy outside. the only button I can find is an invisible one in the top left corner, but it dosent seem to do anything.
